Family Christmas Hampers

Christmas is not the most wonderful time of the year for families in financial difficulty. With your help, we will distribute Family Christmas Hampers through our Support Centre and partner organisations to families that need a little help to make this Christmas special.

Child poverty continues to rise in the West Midlands, with West Bromwich West being in the top 10 parliamentary constituencies for highest child poverty in the region. Thirty-four per cent of under-16s in the region live in poverty after housing costs, according to research published in October 2020 by the End Child Poverty coalition.

Christmas brings additional strain for families already struggling financially but we can offer a little help.  Donate gifts to contribute to our Family Christmas Hampers, we'll prepare the hampers and work with our local partners to distribute to families in need.

To donate your gifts, contact us to arrange a drop-off time during our Support Centre open hours.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY

SANDWELL CONSORTIUM

We were overwhelmed with your kindness and generosity this Christmas. The families who received them were hugely grateful and you have made their Christmas a happier one.

SACRED HEART

I can't describe the gratitude and love in their hearts my family feel for you and Centrepoint.

They were speechless and very tearful when I arrived with hampers and toys. Thank you so much for putting smiles on the faces of a very deserving family, that are going through a very difficult time right now.

SAFE FAMILIES FOR CHILDREN

The hampers were fantastic, thank you.  They have all been given out now and it was a joy to deliver them to our families.  It’s hard when families admit when they have nothing and then see the provision of the local church.
